Muay Thai Kickboxing / Savate

Muay Thai is a combat sport of Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This physical and mental discipline which includes combat on shins is known as “the art of eight limbs” because it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, shins, being associated with a good physical preparation that makes a full-contact fighter very efficient.
Savate is a form of French Kickboxing utilizing fast, elusive footwork along with fast & unpredictable attacking combinations. We merge these two styles to form a perfect balance of speed, agility & power!

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is where everything we teach at Average Joe’s MMA comes together.
Striking from Boxing / Kickboxing, Takedowns & Grappling from CSW & Catch Wrestling, Strength & Conditioning from our Fitness Classes.

Catch Wrestling

Catch-as-Catch-Can is defined as “using or making due with whatever means are available.” Jiu-jitsu translates to “the gentle art” and Judo translates to “the gentle way.” Catch as Catch Can Wrestling is regarded throughout the world as “the violent art,” due to its aggressive nature when compared to these other popular styles. It is also the father of Olympic Freestyle Wrestling (once commonly known as Amateur Catch as Catch Can) and Collegiate Folkstyle Wrestling.
Conditioning

Fitness Conditioning is the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by mixed martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as kickboxing, boxing and muay thai.
Whether you want to get in shape for an event, next fight or just have a challenging workout, our Fitness Conditioning workout is perfect for you!
Unlike a lot of these popular “cardio kickboxing” classes going around, we actually use real martial arts techniques and training methods, same ones used by professional fighters to get in shape!
